Went about a week ago one day and liked it enough to go back the next day. Great value... breaded pork torta one day, pibil the next. Francisco was courteous and personable. Will have to try a cocktail next time Endorsed by @stuffmydaddrinks!
Our family visits Punta Mita every year and we always eat at El Sueno once or twice during our trip. It is our favorite restaurant in town. The food is outstanding and the owner Rene is so friendly and welcoming. The tortilla soup is my favorite, and we recently tried the Mexican platter which was delicious!
My husband and I visit Punta Mita every year and recently found El Sueno. It is now at the top of our list! The food was outstanding and the staff was so friendly, including the owner Rene! After chatting with her it was obvious that she is not only an extremely talented chef, but also a passionate spirit who has poured her heart into this sweet little spot. We had the enchiladas verdes and the crunchy chicken tacos and both were delectable! If you are in Punta Mita, you must go.
The two complimentary salsas here are so deliciously spicy, it's worth it just for that experience alone. I tried the fish tacos zarandeado and they were fantastic. They have a large selection of cocktails made with fresh juices, expertly made. Also some interesting liquors! I can't wait to try another dish there soon. Oh also you can get caguamas and they serve you with a new chilled glass each refill! such luxury!
Best place, hands down, in Punta Mita. Excellent music, delicious food, beautiful setting and the most friendly staff. I went to this place more times in one week than anywhere else. Put it on your list of places to check out!!
I have been coming to Mita for 5 years. Every year, El Sueno is better. The owner, Renee, is one of the best people I’ve ever met and she is a generous, altruistic, accommodating person. I love her and her restaurant. She’s truly a gem and I would recommend going there 1000%.
Fresh and thoughtful, legitimate home cooked Mexican food. My favorite Mexican food and spot in Punta Mita. No lack of Mexican food around but this is special. Delicious and fresh citrus cocktails, wonderful service, casual atmosphere, unpretentious prices. We keep coming back for more.
Stopped by on a Thursday night to enjoy some live music, refreshing drinks and a little bite The guava margarita is a must. The shrimp relleno was yummy. Francisco was very friendly and helpful. We plan to be back the next time we are in Mita!
